[photo-3d] Mounts, Nishika

Comparing the front 4p spicer aperture to an RBT 4p aperture, it appears
the RBT is slightly smaller.......the technical term is a " smidgen" or
a " hair" smaller. This ever so slight variation allows me to mount 4p
chips easier in RBT mounts, whereas mounting jigs like the spicer cannot
adjust for, and RBT transfer method requires a floating technique. The
RBT's seem to offer more room for horizontal adjustments, and seem to
mask alittle more in the vertical direction. Am I crazy or are RBT 4p
aperatures smaller...Paul?
I have used both Nimslo and Nishika cameras. The Nimslo has better
lenses. The Nishika has a functional hot shoe, and has yielded some
decent shots, but I would not use one on a regular basis. I call my
Nishika the " high risk disposable"....I figure I can risk shots in the
water and other dangerous areas, and if I trash the camera, I'll rewind
the film and leave the camera behind..........no loss!
BTW, how much is Kodak charging for stereo mounting these days? And 7
weeks?! I'm surprised noone has contacted me thusfar for precision
mounting services.
