[photo-3d] Russian auto-stereo film projection

I seem to recall that there was a Russian process for
auto-stereoscopic cinema which was used in their theaters during the
50's and 60's.  I believe that it used some form of barrier strip
technology.  

If anyone can point me to some literature or other information on this
subject, please feel free to contact me directly.
