[photo-3d] StereoJet

someone at movies3d@xxxxxxx asked "What are stereo jet prints?"

Polarized stereo inkjet transparencies is the short answer. A two sided
cross polarized sheet is used in an inkjet printer with special inks.
Three hundred dpi requires large scans for large images - typically
Kodak image CDs.

the new StereoJet pages are:

and SF Imaging's page

The "prints" appear to be of photographic quality at normal viewing
distances. Polarized crosstalk is not noticeable or faint in images
extreme contrast. This is a museum quality medium. The silver backing
does not compare to a using a light box and the uncoated transparency.
Use of an overhead projector and a silver screen also works very well.

Cost was $2.50 per square inch - is now .63 cents per square inch. A
primary problem is now solved!

I have had the pleasure of working in the medium for a while now. This
is as good as stereo "prints" can be. Maybe I can sell some of those
museum quality prints of Yosemite, cars, airplanes, ghost towns......
