Hello, Paul, and friends;
Thanks for the tips.
I tried to subscribe to the MF3D, but my subscription is
still pendind.

Niels, what
>is your experience level with other forms of 3D
photography?
Yes, you have really covered a lot.
I have a little bit of experience with 35mm stereo slides.
As I don't want to buy a stereo camera (I don't think it is
worth the expense), I chose to do it with 35mm cameras, with
the advantage of varying the stereo base. I view the slides
with two inexpensive slide viewers attatched... rudimentar,
but nice.
My interest in MF slides, is not only because of their
brilliance, but also because of the higher image
size.
I've heard of a viewing lens that is made of a triplet
behind a convergent lens that is capable of 10x
magnifications... I haven't seen one of those yet, but I
think that there will be a *lot* of distortion with a 6x6
slide... unless this lens has the right focal lenght ...
now... will such (80mm - the "right" FL for MF) lens be
capable of a 10x magnification?
Another point: will I loose too much by using a shorter
lens, in order to have a higher magnification?
Thanks again
Niels
