[photo-3d] VEP 5.40 7p mystery mounts

Can some give me info on these 7p mounts that I have acquired?  They are
labeled "VEP 5.40  Herstellerbetrieb: VEB Foto-Graphike, 701 Leipzig
Salomonstr.20.  They have some type of adhesive on them that is activated
by water?  The opening size is 28 x 23 but the distance between the views
is around 31mm compared to the RBT & Splicer of around 34mm.  So, let's
see, pushing the chips together makes it more of a hyper view? or
manufactured for a specific viewer?
