Ray Zone responds:

The Dale Labs film is made on the newer Estar-based film which depolarizes
the light when the polarizers are BEHIND the slides to be projected (in this
order): lamp-polarizer-slide-screen. The solution is to use a projector
that has the polarizers in FRONT of the stereo slides in projection:
lamp-slide-polarizer-screen.

Expect to see Estar base films becoming more common. The advantage of Estar
is that it is much more stable and archival than older cellulose-based
films. Estar base is used increasingly more for motion picture films
because of its dimensional stability and archival life which is 4-5 times
that of the older base films.
