We are pleased to welcome the new millenium with some brand
new R-format (41x101) stereo mount products!

  ==> 5-Perf SELF-STICK cardboard mounts
      ----------------------------------
These new mounts are quick and easy to use. They feature
a "register" (on the inside surface of the front half of
the mount) to help correctly align the film chips, without
the use of a mounting jig. After affixing the film to the
mount (with your choice of tape, glue, or Wess tabs), simply
remove the "release paper" from the back side of the mount
to reveal the adhesive, then fold and press shut.

These new self-stick mounts are a good substitute for the
presently unavailable Pegco slip-in mounts. Although not
reusable once sealed, they are attractively priced at less
than 1/2 the cost of the Pegco slip-in mounts.

==> 5-Perf heat seal cardboard mounts
      ---------------------------------
While similar in some respects to other heat seal mounts,
this new mount offers several advantages. Instead of raised
tabs, they have a "register" (on the inside surface of the
front half of the mount) to help correctly align the film
chips, without the use of a mounting jig. After affixing
the film chips to the mount (with your choice of tape, glue,
or Wess tabs), just fold and seal shut with heat.

==> Horizontal half-frame (or "Extra Reduced Height") mounts
      --------------------------------------------------------
These unique mounts with 22 x 16.5mm apertures, are available
in self-stick and heat-seal styles. While designed specifically
for twin half-frame camera rigs (e.g., Yashica Samurai), they
can also be used for horizontal "beamsplitter" slides, (e.g.,
Tri-Delta), and for extreme vertical cropping of Realist-format
      images.

In all of the above mounts, the register creates a sort of
channel in which the film chips can slide horizontally before
sealing, allowing full control of the stereo window. Both
styles of the new 5-perf mounts also feature a printed spotting
dot in the correct location (lower left corner as oriented for
hand viewing).

All of the new mounts can be ordered now from Rocky Mountain
Memories. Visit http://www.rmm3d.com/ordering/order.html

Order any of the four new mounts now for shipment beginning Monday,
January 22, 2001.

New web pages more fully describing the new mount products will be
available soon. Pricing information is available on the rmm3d.com
web site. Volume pricing will be available, but we recommend trying
the mounts first to be sure they suit your needs.

Note: These mounts are from a supplier that is new to the US market.
They do *not* have any relationship to our "Precision tape-shut
cardboard mounts" supplied by Steve Spicer of Australia. Steve
Spicer's mounts remain the highest quality cardboard R-format mounts
on the market. The self-stick mounts are a new option for those who
prefer mounting guides plus heat-free and tape-free sealing. The
heat seal mounts are a new option for those who like heat-seal mounts
but prefer easier control of the stereo window, as well as improved
opacity (i.e., less light leakage through the mount).
