[photo-3d] Nimslo flash

I tested it, and some good news and bad news. Flash synch with the vivitar 283
seems fine-- by firing the flash at the wall and looking through the back, I
saw light when the strobe fired. Then I put a high intensity light on the
sensor and tried it. The camera still knows the flash is there, even without
the dedicated pin being active (Japanese made camera), because it's obviously
still wide open at f5.6. To check, I used a maglight in a dark room and aimed
it at the camera sensor. In this case, it stopped down all the way to f11 or
whatever the lowest aperture is even though the camera was happily taking an
f11 picture in near total darkness. So the trick is to stop the camera from
sensing the presence of the flash and still getting the flash to fire. I'll
try and read through the manual and figure it out, but would appreciate it if
others also did the same...
