First, there are no saxophones in the brass instruments too!  A sax is a
woodwind instrument as determined by the mouthpiece, not the instrument
itself :-) :-)

I actually thought MAK mak was talking about SexGrills which, if I'm not
mistaken, is a wax used on surf boards, skiis and snowboards.  And,
while this question would make much more sense on alt.skiskiski, I think
the wax could also be used as a lubricant for sticky shutters found on
older Lubitels, Kodaks and Realists.

And, also for the record, I believe a trombone can be outfitted with
what's called an "F-key" which is a gear driven lever to change the tone
without sliding the trombone's slide.  I could be wrong because it's
been a while since I've seen one.
