[photo-3d] Realist Heat Sealer

Hello all,
I recently received a Realist heat sealer and came to the quick
realization that I have no clue on how it's supposed to work. I have
the heating unit with a slot at the top, the bakelite base that
(apparently) the mount goes in, a heavy metal piece that looks like it
goes over the mount/bakelite base, a little handle that apparently fits
into the heavy metal piece and a little metal "thingy" that looks a
little like a sawed off key.
Now, my assumption is that you heat up the little sawed off key thingy,
place the mount in the bakelite base, put the heavy metal holder in
place and use the key thingy to get an initial seal.
Could anyone supply a bit more detail on how this wonderful item is
supposed to work?
Thanks & regards,
Ron
