Thank you Chris,
All of your suggestions have been put into the future travel notebook.
The freak show on Bourbon was much better this year, probably because the
weather brought the temperature up 25-45 degrees from what it was 2 years ago so
there were respectable crowds every night.
Looked for Tippitinas French Quarter planning to take a cab to the uptown from
there but missed the entrance because of a tour bus parked at the blues cafe,
kept us walking past the 'show' at Jackson Square all the way to snug harbor for
Jason Marsalis in a nice quiet place.
Waited until Sunday to visit the cemeteries and only a few were open and not in
the best neighborhoods mostly just hoods, made me glad that we took our body
guard and allowed me to focus.
Feel that I must learn more so quickly about stereo because of the colleges and
the zoological garden.
Papa Joes was good, their Gumbo was nice and thick seems like we were chasing
rainbows in bowls of gumbo all over N.O.
After many recommendations for Central Grocers for Muffalettas and the
disappointment with the muffalatta there we were on quest for the sloppiest
muffalatta and the jury is still out on the results.
Being a Juggler I can not just visit a zoo without giving performances to the
animals ( the otters are the most interested ) we had to apply the same to
Bourbon Street with Balloon animals, Swords, Arrows and Hearts all of which were
big hits at temptations we had free treats to everything there as long as the
balloons held out and the girls acted much like the otters in the zoo do when
juggled for. Pandemonium
Mid-City Rock and Bowl sounds like a reason to go back in itself that just
sounds so perfect sort of like a cross sport but creole.
The whole family enjoyed Meyer Hats more than anything and it is a great place
to get stereo of aspiring indiana jones surrounded by a million hats in a
thousand hat building run by the old men who were boys when this hat shop was
still two times older than they are now.
