Another way to eliminate chromatic aberrations is,
wear anaglyph glasses when viewing through a viewer. ;-)

All kidding aside, I'd like to emphasize what might 
not be immediatly apparent (not to George for sure!).
The detriment of chromatic aberrations is not only
simply seeing extra colors (blue/orange fringing),
but also severely impacting on the 3-D effect.
