Wow, now that's cool! :-) I did see a marked improvement in reducing
the color fringing, when viewed with a viewer (with one pixel shifted). It
was hard to say if the stereo was better though. Another example with
more depth info, might yield more definite answers.  The thought did
occur to me, what if the different color channels were shifted all across
and not only on the border. It looks like a worthwhile area to investigate!

I did notice the degree of pixel shifting  seemed to effect the depth
level of the clouds relative to Barbara Eden. The clouds were either
behind, same level, or in front of her. It seems the shifting might have
to be done on selected areas, which might complicate the process
of reducing chormatic aberrations.
