Mary was kind enough to pass on some info on this, so I'll pass it to you:

I've just signed up for esnipe at: http://www.esnipe.com/ and have only had
a chance to use it once. It seems to work as advertised. I haven't checked
on isnipit yet, but have also found Amherst Robots at:
http://www.vrane.com/. They have a whole array of useful auction "bots",
including ones for sniping, and a collection for sellers. Looks interesting,
but I've only had a chance to give it a cursory look-over.

I found Amherst in several of the messages in eBay's forum, after searching
by "snipe" at:
http://remarq.ebay.com/ebay/search_disc.asp?g=discuss%2Eebay%2Ebidding&nav=F
IRST&str=snipe
There's some pretty amusing posts in there, and I found looking though them
quite entertaining. This would seem to be bordering on a religion with some.

Now I've gone on long enough with what I imagine is becoming an off-topic
post, so I'll call it quits. I WAS using both eyes while typing this and got
quite a good perspective view of my arms extending in front of me...
does that help? :-)
