So that everyone can be comparing like for like, would it be useful if I 
output a test slide (I have a Fuji one that combines male and female faces, 
gray scales and a colour chart etc) as many times as are needed and send them 
to Dan to send to the testers?

I know this would add to the timescale, but for the test to be meaningful, 
everyone really has to scan the same slide. Of course, this might actually 
save time if the plan was to send the same physical slide from tester to 
tester... 

Oh, and will the testers be using a variety of scanning software? Someone 
using a Nikon scanner with Nikon software is far more likely to get "jaggies" 
than someone using VueScan with the same Nikon scanner...
