[photo-3d] Re: My very first stereo picture

I couldn't say which one was exactly the first. About 12 years
ago I got one of the Taylor-Merchant folding plastic viewers
and instructions for cha-cha shots. There was an ad in the back
of a photography magazine. I got some pretty nice ones of still
objects--houses, etc., and one interesting people shot where the
two images didn't quite match! I lost interest back then. I'm
basically a slide shooter and didn't know any way to do stereo
slides--just didn't have the information, and no one to ask.
Much later I saw a Loreo display in a photography store window
and then discovered photo-3d. My first roll was with my Stereo-tach
beamsplitter, and the first thing I took a picture of was the
Pittsburgh city steps right above my school. They are very long
and a perfect subject for the vertical beamsplitter format.
Even though the picture is technically flawed (the Stereo-tach
overlaps images at smaller apertures than the Pentax), it still
looks good, and I've not managed so far to take a better picture
of those particular steps! I scanned the slide and the image is
the wallpaper for one of the school computers.
