[photo-3d] Third Friday Stereo Dinner Report

Last night was the February 2001 edition of the TFSD hosted by Tom
Deering. Tom and Pat were joined by Bill (a friend of theirs), Rod (a
new comer to the dinners), John Billingham, and Liz and I.

Bill brought full frame 35mm slides from a recent trip to the Orlando
theme parks. These were Bill's first stereo shots and they were very
good. We viewed them with an adapter that Tom had for his MF slide
viewer. The fronts of a normal MF mount matches the outside
dimensions of a 2x2 slide mount.

Rod brought a custom case for carrying a Realist viewer and three
drawers of slides. He had a very nice Realist Green Button Viewer
(with the battery module) and brought a really interesting set of
slides from the 1950's (including the Rose Bowl Parade).

I brought some MF slides from my recent trip to Hawaii, a 4x5 pair
also from that trip and the MF3D Folio II (which I just took over
administration of). The folio is unoffically the "Hawaii Folio" since
three of us currently have Hawaii slides in the folio.

John brought along his MF viewer, so we had three MF viewers going
around the table showing slides in two different formats (MF and
2x2x2). John also brought a large format viewer so I could look at my
4x5 pair.

Tom brought some of his MF slides from a trip to China.
