I have had trouble when using the RBT as a jig for the Spicer mount, but my
problem has been the chips coming off of the rail, not the rail slipping in
the channel. I have recently been taping the chips lightly to the RBT with
Wess tabs, which release easily once the chips are securely taped down.
When I mount my next roll I will try using the pliers on the pins to see if
they can hold the chips more securely.
