[photo-3d] Michael Levy question

Michael,
Sorry that this response is so late as it needed re-editing. While
I am sure that there are various diaghrams and drawings of these
things, I have not sought them out. In '78 when I got my Pentax
mirror (splitter) I wanted more taking angle and a quick attachment
to a 35 mm lens showed me that doesn't work at all. That is when I
made some drawings of ray tracings to discover what would be necessary
for a wide angle lens. In order to make one it would require rather
exacting craftsmanship to pull it off and much MUCH larger front mirrors
even though the attachment is rather simple in concept.
