It was specifically to the aspect of mass marketing to the public in
general, and not just the 3-D buff, that I was addressing my commentary.
The analogy to the wearing of sunglasses, which people in all walks of life
seem to do without objection, was that the very concept of wearing glasses
is not foreign to most people, and in fact is often associated with
pleasurable activities. You don't have to wear sunglasses to go to the
beach or go golfing or boating or skiing or drive a car, yet most people do.
