(If the subject matter of the following posting did actually make
it to photo-3d in an earlier mail, please accept my apologies. I
sent a similar message last night , but it has not appeared in
the my list mail today.)

Make a comment about the value of posting notices of stereo club
meetings on the Internet lists, and you will not only see an
increase in such announcements, you may even receive personal
e-mail inviting you to attend one.

It happened! Cliff Howard and Bruce Rosenberger of IN DEPTH the
Stereo Photography Club, North Plainfield, NJ invited me to visit
the club meeting this month.

On March 2, 2001, we had the unexpected pleasure of sharing in
the celebration the fourteenth anniversary of IN DEPTH. The
meeting took place in the Fleetwood Camera Museum, where the club
has met for the past thirteen of its fourteen years.

The New York Stereoscopic Society representation included Jim
Norman, my wife Janet, and yours truly, as well as any other
members of the In Depth club, such as Cliff, who may also
participate in the NYSS.

A secondary benefit of the pilgrimage to the club meeting was the
opportunity to browse through the exhibits of the Fleetwood
Museum. What a great place for a stereo club to meet!

Slides by Paul Milligan were featured in the projection program.
Horst Hoyer worked the Brackett Dissolver. Club President Norman
Skolnick introduced the Brackett as the "Cadillac of Modern
Stereo Projectors."

Outstanding photography characterized Paul Milligan's slides,
what else could we expect? Similarly, well-composed, well-taken,
and well-mounted 3D slides produced by club members were also
shown.

Many thanks to all whose stereo photographic skills made the
evening so rewarding. And thanks for the invitation to visit.

	Stuart
