[photo-3d] Tethered shutter glasses

Those of you that use the tethered type of electronic shutter glasses (the kind of liquid crystal glasses that have that funny wire dangling from them), may be interested in the following.

Most of such glasses have a 3.5mm (3/32") stereo mini phone plug on the end of that wire. Fortunately, most demux boxes have a 3.5mm jack that they plug into. Some of the glasses and boxes have 2.5mm (1/8") stereo micro phone plugs (sometimes called sub-mini).

Fortunately, Radio Shack has adapters (made for stereo audio, but they work just fine with the 3-D shutter glasses). The catalog number 274-373 allows you to plug a 2.5mm pair of shutter glasses into a 3.5mm demux box. The catalog number 274-397 allows you to plug a 3.5mm pair of shutter glasses into a 2.5mm demux box.

Also of interest, the catalog number 42-2463 Y-adapter allows you to plug two pairs of shutter glasses into one demux box, and the 42-2458 three headphone adapter allows you to plug three sets of shutter glasses into one demux box!
