It sounds like you use a different method in transfering chips from the RBT
jig to the spicer mount than I do.
I always put the chips front side up (emulsion down) on the jig and then
place a spicer mount on top. I slip this sandwich into the red button so
that the jig and chips are behind the mount to preview for window
adjustments and then tape down.
If memory serves, I believe you also make your jig differently. I only cut
out a small notch below each chip big enough to tape the chip down instead
of cutting off the entire bottom of the jig. That way I can align the jig
at the bottom of the spicer against a straight edge, or at the top against
the fold of the mount.
When I try to place the 5p front spicer cardboard cutout inside my RBT
mount it only fits very tightly, so I tend to think that my spicer mounts
probably have a slightly larger window than the RBT. I guess the way I do
it I'm seeing a tiny sliver of the RBT jig along each side rather than the
image, but I've never found this to be a problem.
