I agree with Allan (as of today)--start with some RBT mounts.

You say you have used some and ask 'What next?'  David Kesner and I
have jointly offered (here on P3D) a free review service for stereo
slide mounters.  Take advantage of that, or show your slides to a
local expert for feedback.
