By Jupiter, I think the poor man is right!  The lens and film don't know
they are upside-down.  Two pictures from two place are the same. Cliff
pulled a fast one on the experts, I fear!  Now my head hurts, George.

Turning the camera upside-down changes the film travel direction from L-R to 
R-L. This is the difference.
