This sounds real interesting.  Where is the "Comby" viewer available?  Does
it have eyecups or an eye shield to reduce back reflection from ambient
light?

Incidentally, for people that are not familiar with large lens viewers (I
have one, but unfortunately it does not have interocular adjustment), back
reflection of ambient light becomes more of a problem than for viewers with
smaller lenses.  Eye cups like on professional movie camera viewfinders help
reduce this, as do overall shields like on most card viewers.  Sometimes
adding eye cups to an existing viewer can improve the viewing experience.
These are often available in the accessory or gadget section of larger
camera stores (look for blister packs on display, often on vertical
perfboard racks).
