After so many questions about the perceived differences of the two bulb types
we decided to offer both versions. From all the literature and personal
experience that I have found the 2.8V bulb may have a longer lifetime than
the other bulb. This may be due to other factors as the bulbs appear quite
different. The 2.5V bulb may be a bit brighter but I could not detect it.
