Thank you, John Goodman. I really appreciated the nice things that you had
to say.

The reason that I have been, and hope to continue, sending this information
is that way back when I started in stereoscopic imaging myself, there was no
Internet, not even any computers (pre-ENIAC) and the few people that I knew
of were not willing to share information. They all regarded it as some
sort of proprietary secret.

So, I had to find out the details by myself, usually through
experimentation, and later through the books that authors such as McKay and
the Spottiswoode brothers published. In betwixt and between, many serious
errors were made by many contemporaries, and a lot of eyestraining 3-D
images were produced by many "stereographers", including professional motion
picture production people.

As a result I want to share the information that I have acquired, so that
others may have an easier route to success, and hopefully produce better
stereoscopic images that are easier to view. I regard this as very
important to the future of stereoscopy.
