I just have to say how much I enjoy John A. Rupkalvis's detailed 
replies on so many of the topics discussed on P3D. From his 
seemingly limitless erudition, he helpfully distills useful and 
informative points, expressing complex subjects clearly and 
with warmth. Thus, it's possible to gain a deeper appreciation 
of the physical and chemical phenomena underlying even 
simple-appearing miracles, like switching on the lamp in a 
viewer to look at a stereo slide.
