True. But knowing what the nearest object is can be
surprisingly difficult (unless the object is really large and
distinct). If it's a blade of grass, or a twig, among many
blades of grass or twigs, you gotta guess, cause you can't
view the image in 3D on the computer while you're building
the image. The image has to be completely assembled
before the window defines itself as a plane. I can't
always check the originals -- they are usually lost --
or travelling on a slide circuit, or ...
Still, I ask "is it all really worth it?" I mean, who notices
the window anyway? ;->
