I don't understand this part. What does "a bit smaller" mean?
If you've already defined the size and cropping of the images,
nudging them left and right doesn't really change the window --
I mean, if you find that you need a bit more image on a side of
one of the images, how do you get that back? Are you scanning
a mounted slide by chance?

I just remounted a couple of slides to "correct" the window
(though now I probably can't project it again since infinity
points will be too far apart). Quenched myself in the cool
delights, etc., and you know what? I still don't think the
difference is really all that big. The _important_part, the
photograph, is still the same.
