[photo-3d] FED light leak

I have been looking for the light leak in my FED which seems to ruin all my
best beach pictures. I tried various things (tape, foam, felt) and then
let it sit overnight with 800 speed film next to a light bulb. Nothing
worked in two tries so I tried Dr. T's patented method of finding Realist
light leaks. Two AAA batteries fit in the cassette end, while a 3V light
bulb fits in the takeup spool end. The wires are soldered to the batteries
and to the nib on the bulb. The final connection is by wrapping the
unconnected wire around the bulb body and taping it. Don't try to solder
to the body of a flange type bulb as you may break the air seal.

The leak was found in a plastic rivet. A metal plate with a DIN>ISO
conversion chart is riveted to the back with four black plastic rivets.
The one on the upper right was leaking light. Some black masking tape on
the inside took care of it. I taped all four plus another hole nearby for
good measure.

Thanks Dr. T.

This place was not listed on the excellent FED site:

Now I am looking for the leaks on my RBT X4. I don't see it right away,
but stay tuned. I think the problem is that there are five ridges
(counting on both the back and body) at the bottom of the film, but only
three on the top and one of those is not full height in the center. I hear
from Jon Golden that other X4's have a similar problem.
