[photo-3d] Brumberger mounts

I just received a group of slide that I bought 
on eBay and 13 of them came in Brumberger stereo 
mounts. These are interesting. Heavy steel frames 
with double glass, they are about as thick as an 
RBT plastic mount. I think I'll reuse some of them 
for my own slides, but I can't get them apart. 
Does anyone know how to pry them apart?
