For what it's worth, I've used RasterPlus software to "print" to
my Polaroid unit and had realist-format originals stay "vertical"
with black on either side of it. Don't recall what I did or if
it was a problem, but I've done it w/RasterPlus (obviously, the
Polaroid 'version'). Maybe there's a setup option
in there somewhere (and there are quite a few!). Having said
that, my next batch will be completely hosed, of course. :-) :-)

P.S. - I don't use pin-registered 2x2 mounts so I expect to have
to precision-mount my computer-printed film -- so lack
of precision registration on the film hasn't
been a noticed problem. :-)
