Although I have not been on this list for very long during your tenure, I
also wish you the best in your new endeavors and responsibilities.  I want
to thank you for your efforts over the years which has resulted in what we
have today.  I look upon this list as a great opportunity for the sharing of
knowledge among all of us contributors and beneficiaries.   As long as it is
kept free and open, it will continue to function in this manner.   When
everyone is allowed to contribute, the true facts will come out and overcome
the large amount of misinformation that has plagued the entire field of
stereoscopy for so many years.   Your maintaining of this list has been a
major contribution to this goal.

I have no doubt that this positive direction will continue under Paul.  He
and I have had several off-list discussions, and I am confident that he will
continue the hard work and dedication that you have initiated, as well as
his commitment to maintaining this freedom of the electronic press.
