[photo-3d] Count Down SLR's

While preparing some single camera hypers for an OSPS workshop, I
grabbed a Canon Rebel 2000 for the task. While loading the camera, the
film is wound completely onto the take up spool, and as shots are taken,
the film is returned to the cannister. ( AKA, the film counter displays
number of shots remaining)
Crunched for time, I requested the film uncut and unmouted to avoid
breaking mounts apart etc. I should also mention that I have
difficulties walleye viewing, but crosseyed is no problem.
I was pleasantly surprised to realize I could freeview the filmstrip
without cutting the film.
Within a minute I selected the images I would mount for the workshop. So
all you crosseyed folks, if purchasing a single SLR, select a model with
this transport feature. It will save you tons of time! Is this stereo
utopia or what?
:-) Mark Dottle
BTW, the Rebel performed very well and I was very satisfied with the
Canon 28-80 lens.
