Hi Don!

When my 11 x 19 screen (larger than 8 feet in width AND height) 
arrives, I will check with our club before I make any final decisions. 
I did give Morrie Lemke (the man who sets up the screen and 
projection platform - for those not in our club) a call and he 
commented that with our current 70x70 screen when we have the wide 
(31.5mm) slides exceed the edge of the 70 inch wide screen by about an 
inch on each side, the bottom of the image barely is over people's 
heads, and the top is right under the hanging lights.  

I figure that that means the maximum image height is not more than 53 
inches (72 x 24/31.5) regardless of the width.  So far, it looks like 
the screen I'll end up with, for use at the PSSCC (and home) will be 
63 inches tall and 98+ inches wide which should cover the maximum 
height our room can take.
