Then why do most salons insist on 7 perf. maximum size?  I guess not many 
have the TDC 116 or the Bracketts.

I spoke to Jerry Walter over ten years ago on the matter of 2x2 slides in 
PSA Salons. He was at the time the chairman of the aids and standards 
committee, and his reply was that he was not about to reqiure every 
sponsor who ran a salon to retool or upgrade their equipment, particularly 
as they were in a decline in participation. I continue to emphasize that 
the future of stereo is in the 2x2 format and nobody is about to retool to 
make a Realist format camera.
