Yeah! And, plastic will never replace Baklite, and all cars will have
carburetors and run on gasoline!
I have no doubt that at some point, digital photography will surpass
film photography. It may not be in my lifetime, but possibly my son's
or (someday) my grandchildren. Just because the digital quality isn't
close right now doesn't mean it will not improve. It's already improved
greatly in just the last five years or so.
As for slides, who says you need slides to project digital images? A
laptop and an SVGA projector will work just fine. And who's to say that
they won't start making a projector that you simply place your digital
camera memory in to project the images. After all, they're already
doing that with printers.
