I own a 716 TDC projector and am wondering if anyone on the list offers
the service of widening the carrier aperture, or knows who would be able
to do this for me? I am starting to shoot some full frame twin rig
stereo, although I always use 7p mounts (for cropping and window
adjustment purposes) so don't really need full frame. Or would a 116
carier work in a 716 if one could find one?

I also agree with the contingent who feel that the Realist Red Button
viewers even widened do not work very well for 7p (distortion on the
edges), so I am wondering if there are other options such as widening
other types of viewers (Kodak II? Green Button?) that would work any
better. Or different lenses in the RB? I seem to recall that Brumbergers
cover 7p without modification, but I assume the quality would not be
great. I would like to stay out of the DeWijs/ van Ekeren price range
for now, although one of these days that would be great. -Linda
