Actually the original concerns had nothing to do with conflicts between the
dealers room and the slide presentations, but between "Workshops and
meetings" and the slide presentations.

Can't help on this one... I don't recall ever hearing this but I've only
attended a meager two conventions...

It's been my experience that the vendors are mostly folks with a passion for
3D/Stereo that have decided to go out of their way to offer products or
services that were difficult or impossible to find,to help their fellow
stereo enthusiasts. Only a few are doing this full time (you money grubbing
scum! ;-) And if they make a few bucks at it - GOOD for them!
And being new to this group, Marshall may not realize that many of the
V****RS (see, now I can't even say the dirty word!) are members of this
group. Of course they are here only to spy on us and find out what other
products they can foist upon us unsuspecting 3D/Stereo enthusiasts! If
there's been a controversy in the past about V****RS and slide presentations
maybe it arose from the V****RS wanting to see the shows?

Sorry, I don't buy that one!

Hmmm, don't think you'll get an argument on that one!
For anyone that doesn't know Marshall, be it known now that his tireless
efforts for MANY years kept Stereo Photography alive in the Central Jersey
area. Please don't mistake his passion for the hobby for anything else. I
may not always agree with him, but I do respect him!
