I can only ask you to not take a lot of what you read 
here too seriously.  George likes to provoke people by 
taking contrary positions, sometimes even extreme or 
perverse ones.  He feels that this will somehow educate us.  
Sometimes it does, by provoking enough varied, thoughtful 
& educated responses to take us places we haven't been 
before and therefore extend the collective body of knowledge, 
but sometimes it doesn't, and just makes his statements seem 
ridiculous.

Step back from the keyboard, take a deep breath, and remember that 
"Dr." is the abbreviation for both doctor and dictator.
