This has been the case in the past but lately
I have improved (right Gabriel? :)) and certainly
in this particular thread I believe I was crystal
clear and very consistent in everything I wrote.

I mentioned earlier that for the past 3 years I have
been authoring a column called "Stereo Photography
Tutorial" for the Stereogram, which is the newsletter
of the Ohio Stereo Photographic Society. The first
year I covered "Getting Started in Stereo With a Manual
Stereo Camera". The second year I covered "Beyond the
Stereo Camera". This second part examines the effects
of Stereo Base and Focal Length in stereo. This year I
continue the Tutorials with articles on Techniques ("How
To") and have covered areas like Stereo Slide Mounting,
Stereo with a Single (2D) Camera and Trick Stereo
Photography.

My workshops in NSA 2001 are based on these Tutorials.
These are:

- Getting started in stereo with a manual stereo camera
- Stereo mounting
- How to take stereo pictures with a single (2D) camera
- How to do Creative/Trick photography

You are welcome to get the bound volume of the Tutorials
or attend the workshops and listen to my presentations.
And if you read or hear any inconsistences, misleading
or false information, or if there is anything you don't
agree with, feel free to bring it to my attention and
discuss it, either here or in the NSA convention in
person or via email. I am open to any opinions or ideas
(really!!!)

Mike asked if I teach intuition in these workshops. Not
really... I present basic concepts and tools in simple
terms so most beginners can understand. This year I plan
to "illustrate" all workshops (including the first one)
with examples of stereo pairs shown in projection. The
last one (Creative/Trick photography) will be exclusively
in stereo projection. I will present a classification
of different Creative/Trick stereo pictures and will show
examples from each group and will discuss how they were
taken. Some will be my own work. Others will be borrowed
work. I will be contacting some of you asking to offer
samples of your work :) Hopefully those attending will
be inspired to try their own trick/creative stereo
photography. I think "inspired" is the key word here.
If someone gets out of the workshop and tries a Stereo
Realist or shoots his/her first stereo pairs with a
single camera, then I feel I have succeeded.
