[photo-3d] Its more than just KM

Perhaps I saw a different press release than others 
who have commented on it, but the version that crossed 
my desk mentioned more than KM.  The one that I saw listed 
all versions of RA (Royal Gold 100) as discontinued, 
suggested replacement RB (Royal Gold 200).  Royal Gold 
1000 (RF) is discontinued, suggested replacement RC.  
Kodacolour Gold 100 (GA) is discontinued in the 12 
exposure length, suggested replacement the 24 exposure 
version.  Also discontinued are many of the multi roll 
packs that had offered a considerable better value 
(compared to the purchase price of single rolls).

Of further interest, however, is that the 36 exposure 
lengths of RB and RC (Royal Gold 400) are discontinued 
as well, suggested replacements being the 24 exposure 
lengths.  I find this more alarming than the loss of 
Kodachrome 25, as (at least in my cameras) a nominally 
36 exposure roll only gives me 18 to 28 stereo pairs.

At least all of the emulsions involved (so far) are 
"consumer" emulsions, which means we'll still be able 
to get our "pro" films in 36'ers (for a while).
