S3D buying and selling

No doubt that it's easiest to buy when there is a "fixed price" stated
for an item. More difficult is the "fixed price or best offer" system.
That implies some negotiation and decision-making on the part of both
buyer and seller.

But I believe it's entirely appropriate to throw an item into the
marketplace on a "make me an offer" basis. It's a traditional and common
way for beginning negotiations.
