The Stereo 50 holds the slides in a magazine-type assembly, which can be 
removed quite easily (without any screws, retaining clips, etc).  The unit 
itself opens quite simply with a single latch on the front.  It does seem as 
though the unit was designed for easy removal of the slide-assembly, but I'm 
not sure whether they were available separately - does anyone have an 
instruction manual with a list of accessories???
