S3D Offers for Steinheil WA adapter?

An elderly member of our club is interested in selling a Steinheil
set of Wide Angle lenses for the Realist.  Upon cleaning the lenses
I noticed that the back lenses (the ones closest to the camera lenses)
are not perfectly clean but appear to have a slight haze in the 
inside.  Questions:

1. Is this the infamous Steinheil fungus? (somehow I doubt it)
2. Does that affect the image quality?  (my guess is that this
   could have an effect only in shots with a light source in 
   the image area)

This lady would like to sell the adapter.  It comes with instructions
but no case.  Is there anyone here willing to entertain an offer, with 
the condition noted above?  I think it is fair to give one month to
try the adapter and return it if the haze is found to be a problem.
Also, please note that these adapters are reported to work well only
with a Realist 2.8 camera, not the 3.5.

(I cannot accept any offer... I can only pass these offers to
the ownder and let her decide)
