S3D Re: re: priority mail woes

I insured an international parcel that the USPS acknowledges losing,
both the recipient and I have filed the correct paperwork and the USPS
still says it can take up to 12 months to pay the claim!  It was
reported missing in June the recipient did not get the paperwork until
November and I still haven't heard anything. They have different
resolution times for domestic verses international (2 months verses 1
year).
