S3D Re: priority mail woes

W ship 50 to 100 packages a day UPS.  The only problem we've had (other
than the strike a while back) is their system of determining if an
address is business or residential.   They treat us well.  I tried RPS
for a while, a couple of days a week as a back-up, but they returned
upwards of 1-2 packages a day as undeliverable, even though the labels
and such were generated on their equipment and software.
The post office is 18 miles away and the folks there pride themselves on
being difficult.  An insurance claim took six months to process.  They
admitted that they kept loosing the paperwork.  Eventually they paid four
times what I asked for and refused to hear that they overpaid.  You take
the good with the bad.
