For Sale: Repronar Slide Copying Unit
There was a discussion in photo-3d about copying
stereo slides and in the VM list about copying
VM reels. I have a solution for you: It is called
Repronar. For pictures please see:
http://home.att.net/~drt-3d/repronar/sale.htm
This unit is made for copying slides. It is a self-
contained unit with a camera, bellows, macro lens,
flash illumination and tungsten preview illumination.
Let me repeat: Camera & lens & bellows and copy stand
and light table (both for previewing and for flashing)
ARE INCLUDED WITH THE UNIT!
By adjusting the distance of the lens from the camera
(via the bellows) different magnifications can be achieved.
A scale in the left side of the unit serves as a
magnification/exposure calculator. This camera uses a
good Repronar Honeywell f3.5 lens and has adjustable
aperture (shutter speed is fixed). I believe the camera
and lens are made by Pentax.
You can use the unit to copy 35mm slides in their standard
mounts but by removing the slide holder you have a wide
area available and it possibly to copy anything from stereo
slides to VM reels!
By removing the diffuser you can see the flash bulb
underneath. There are two controls. Under viewing you get
light for previewing and composing. When done, switch to
flash and fire the camera.
The unit appears to be in good working condition even
though I have not tried putting film through it. It looks
a bit rough and it has a few rust spots but nothing serious.
Asking $150 plus shipping (unit is heavy!) Will take it back
within 30 days if there is a problem but I will not pay for
return shipping.
